Bug Description:
It’s no longer possible to move or equip certain items from my inventory. In this case shoes and leg pieces of Skelos’ armor. I can’t move these things into a chest anymore either. The same applies to my Star Metal tools and same applies to climbing gloves and shoes. My character has the knowledge to make the things mentioned.
I “dropped” them from my inventory, whereupon they disappeared and at the same time completely different objects fell to the floor too. The “vanished things” don’t seem to despawn. They just disappear, because the log doesn’t say that they despawn. Restarting the game and logging into the server again does not fix the error/bug.
Addendum: More things that I was able to equip before, I can no longer equip now. However, the “disappeared” things have now reappeared in the inventory, even if I still can’t throw them away or put them in a chest or equip them. Conan Exiles is currently unplayable due to this massive bug.
EDIT: And the current Battle Pass seems to be super slow to respond. More than 20 minutes after the second login, I had already bought the Battle Pass by then, I received a message that the first item was now available.
This is definitely a problem that has affected me as well.
Some weapons or tools could be added and removed without any problem into multiple hotbar / toolbelt spots, at the same time other weapons and tools could not be placed into those same slots, using any of the following methods:
Mouse drag and drop
Item switch (replacing an item that is already present) - either with another hotbar item or swapping from inventory
Shift + Click to move from Inventory into Hotbar.
So the important take-away is that it was item specific, not method or position specific. I could not move common items, such as basic leather truncheon with a mod kit, and an iron hatchet (non-modded), while similar items (non BP items) were the ones that were able to be moved.
Im having the same issue on my private server. This is ridiculous. I even got the game for some friends today, and they dont even want to touch the game now. This is a bad way to bring in new players. The game will not allow you to equip any armor at all. Doesn’t matter what one. The game is pretty much unplayable at this point. Sure I can host on my pc, but i paid for a server so that all my friends can get on at different times. I have never had this issue before and would love for this to get resolved. But most likely by the time it does my friends wont even want to get on the game. Yes im ranting, but i just bought 3 copies of this game today for friends to play with me, and we can’t if the game isnt working right.
Please use the WITHOUT SORTING (non sorting) mode in your inventory, workbenches and chests when you move things.
This should be selected simultaneously in all windows: in the character and in the workbench, and so on.
Sorting is currently broken by a new update and different settings cause conflicts and incorrect item definition.
