Cannot interact with thrall (using the hard E-key depress) below sea level in Dagon dungeon

Game mode: Online official #1806
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: PvP
Region: America

When in the Dagon dungeon, I am not able to use the hard E-key to interact with my following thrall. I was down here, got stuck behind my thrall and a mob, and ended up becoming fish food. I came back to recover my things, but now Helga is stuck in “Scouting.” I cannot get her attention doing anything whatsoever, and also cannot access her inventory.

Unfortunately, I think that I will have to leave the area, and wait for her to return to her home posting before I can continue with her.

I searched the forums, and found that this issue has been reported previously (but for the XBox):

Please prioritize correcting this bug. Thank you.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Enter the Dagon dungeon with a thrall following you.
  2. Accidentally die due to either stupidity, or overestimating your circumstances.
  3. Respawn at dungeon entrance, and return to collect your things.
  4. Attempt to access thralls inventory with the E-key, or bring up the thrall interaction menu by holding down the E-key.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Any E-key usage below sea level in this dungeon will automatically invoke the drinking mechanic and quench any thirst. Even if you are in an “air pocket.” It seems that this mechanic has more to do with your position relative to the water table, and not the actual content of the space around you.

Curiously, I was able to get Helga’s attention! I ended up goofing a bit, and I changed the point of view. When I had the camera angle aimed up her pantaloons, I was able to access her inventory and also hard E-key to get her to follow me. Win!!

Additional Update:

Also, sandstorm. While in the Dagon dungeon. This cannot be working as intended. Disbelief must be suspended.

C’mon! Polish, Funcom! Polish!!

Hey @Cauthey

Thanks for the feedback, we’ve sent it to our team so they can look into it.
