Unable to interact with thralls in the Dagon dungeon

Game mode: Online
Problem: Bug
Region: N/A

When bringing a thrall along into the Dagon dungeon, you’re usually unable to interact with the thrall in the various underwater areas (for example, after killing a boss). You can’t pull up their inventory, view their stats, etc. I was able to get it to work once by very carefully selecting the top of their head, but clearly pixel hunting should not be a feature of accessing a thrall’s inventory.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Enter the Dagon dungeon with a thrall
  2. Fight and kill a boss in the underwater area
  3. Attempt to access the thrall’s inventory

This has been repeatable with multiple attempts, and across server restarts. This is an Xbox server, so there are no mods, just the vanilla game.

i have seen in a video that if something dies in watwer you can turn your camera to see your toon from below the water and then you can loot it. i tryed it and it work for me

Hi @Megaton238, we’re aware of the issue with looting corpses underwater and it’s being looked into by the developers.

As a temporary workaround, you might try to chop them up and loot from the bag that drops.

Except I wasn’t talking about looting dead bodies underwater. I was talking about accessing your own thrall’s inventory. And chopping up your own thrall is not exactly an option.

The problem isn’t when they are themselves underwater (thralls don’t swim). It’s when they’re in the underwater areas that contain bosses (you know, the areas where you’re out of the water and fighting the bosses, in a breathable space, but you’re still doing all this in a dungeon that is underwater).

I had the same issue today when I was running thru the underwater buildings. I was also unable to access my thrall’s inventory or information screen. This was on a private xbox server.

@Hugo This has been an issue on PC as well. The issue is not with being unable to loot a dead thrall, but that we cannot interact with a living one that is still following us. Pressing or even long-pressing Interact on them simply doesn’t register.

Apologies for the confusion, we’ll take note of this issue.
