Cannot place thralls or do sorcery around volcano

We have lost most of our thralls and cannot use any kind of sorcery benches due to a bug around the volcano. It states that “Thralls cannot be placed here” and “too far away from the bench” to use. Been like this now for roughly 3 weeks. We’ve got no thrall defences and our thralls we did have, we had to place around the map because they wouldn’t place at our main have now been killed.
