I’ve been trying to purchase patron but I have not had any success so far. I keep getting the error message “Your Steam account cannot currently puchase this item.”
I’ve made a ticket with steam who redirected me to back to FunCom support (ticket #1200194) but I have still not had a reply. Is there anythign I can do in the mean time to purchase patron?
You could go to https://account.secretworldlegends.com/ and do a one time irreversible one-way STEAM to standalone account conversion and try to purchase patron with Funcom payment options (whatever they are, I don’t know) instead of Steam wallet.
P.S. You’ll also need to download standalone client instead of steam client
Some players have reportedly had success by purchasing a small amount of aurum first to flag new accounts as eligible for bigger transactions, but that’s by no means a guaranteed solution.
