Cannot purchase Patron

I’ve sent in several petitions and customer support tickets over the last few weeks. Trying here now.

I cannot purchase patron, anytime I try I receive the following message:
“Your steam account cannot currently purchase this item.”

The response from 3 different steam support reps is as follows:

Purchase limitations for in-game currency are set by the game’s developer or publisher.

Please be aware that Steam Support can’t alter or remove purchase limitations on in-game currency for this title.

The response from funcom has been… nonexistent. Through the account > customer support and in-game petitions.

And before any of this is suggested…
Steam overlay is on. I tried toggling it off/on. Reinstalled the game. Installed on another computer. Money is in steam wallet, and a valid credit card on file as well, in the US. $5 purchase is possible, though only works sporadically. Larger purchases, and Patron/subscription NEVER authenticate/initialize a purchase. I always receive the same message. Steam and game are up to date. dx9/dx11 has no effect. The character has finished all missions, is 50, and different zones have no effect with this issue. Removing addons had no effect. I’ve also tried running both steam and the game in administrator mode with antivirus disabled, no fire wall, etc.

Any reply from Funcom? I have a friend having the same issue.

3 weeks I waited on a reply to my ticket, then posted on here, then 10 days later I flagged this post. Finally got a response, and it got cleared up in about 20 minutes.

Before looking for help on here, have him make a ticket. Then I suggest he wait a few days, then try on here. Heck, hopefully they keep watching this thread.

FYI I did some research on this and its not a new issue. At least 6 months back I saw others had same issue. Basically your account gets flagged and a purchase limit put on it. $5/day limit, best that I could tell. All they need to do is reset your acct status. Like I said you need to get a ticket set up before trying here though. They’ll need the ticket number attached to your acct.
