Cannot use climbing after leaving dungeon (dregs)

I went through the dregs, killed Abyssal remnant and left from the portal. At the exit, jumped down but failed to grab onto the cliffside, rode to Sepermeru and couldn’t climb any walls and just jumped against walls without grabbing on. Left there and it worked by the time I got to base. Was around 5-10mins in all
