Siptah , pve server 8068 us server i built near elephant graveyard and the accursed citadel after the last patch i try to complete my build it wont let me build says space currently occupied as in the pics ive tried to report with the in game sucks if i leave the hammer in one spot for say three an a half mins itll let me build one piece an only one
Is anyone running a purge in the area?
That last pic left me clueless. There is a limit between ‘too far’ and too close. Did you have anything beside foundations under foot of the toon? I found that to be a new error.
I experienced this error and others while building a few months back.
While it might not work for you try the following if you haven’t already:
- use a different build piece, like a door or window instead, then replace with preferred piece, sometimes you have to use different themes (stormglass worked a lot for me)
- unequip build hammer, equip weapon or tool, re-equip hammer
- leave render distance, come back
- replace foundation with different theme or tier, place building piece that wouldn’t place, then replace foundation with preferred theme
I hope these workarounds help but there’s definitely something wrong with the building system and has been since around Christmas; not to mention the inconsistencies with each tier and theme.
Thank u for the tips after running all of them down an trying them sadly still not working i can build anywhere on siptah i only hit the problem here i also striped the foudation to the ground built back but nothing to replace the foundation alone i had place it there it says space is currently occupied waitjust stand there a lil over three mins an itll turn green let me place it try the next piece dont move at all wait 3 mins itll turn green lol

Sorry no no purges that i know of this has been happening since the newest battlepass came out i waited for a patch or to hoping it would b fixxed i finally got around to askjng for help her i tried to report it three times in game with bug report but nothing ever came of it

Maybe putting in a bug report? This is not intended behaviour.
I am built near the no build line by elephant graveyard i thought maybe they extended the line to my base ether on purpose or accident but if i wait it the three mins it lets me build lol so i dont know
