Bug Description:
I can’t close the DLC page that opens on launch, and so I am unable to play the game. The game doesn’t seem to recognize mouse clicks. Nothing happens when I click the scrollbar or DLC store links. The keyboard seems to work fine, but there’s no way to reach the “Back” button using the keyboard. When I click on the “Back” button to close the screen, the game minimizes, and when I restore it, the DLC page is still there, so I’m unable to progress pass this screen. Please help; this game was expensive!!
OK, so it looks like that issue resolved itself, because, well, the DLC page no longer appears when Ioad the game. However, I may have nonetheless discovered the root cause: The graphical depiction of the mouse cursor and the actual location of its presence are not in synch, with the offset between the two growing along the respective axis as the cursor is moved down or left. So the reason it would minimize the application is because, when I thought I was clicking on the “Close” button, I was actually clicking far below and to the left of it. Any idea how I might be able to fix that?
Well, I hadn’t adjusted anything, I was just using the defaults. And I’m playing on a laptop. The resolution is 4K native, and I found that after I switched the resolution in the game to match, now things seem to line up. So…I guess it’s fixed? For me anyway. Here’s a screenshot of what it looked like before I changed it. I’m not sure why it picked that strange resolution; I’ve never seen one like that before…
