**Game mode: OIfficial on-line
**Type of issue: Service doesn’t show in program Server type: PVE-C
**Region: America
Was unable to log onto Server 11/17-11/20. Was able to get on briefly on 11/21 but couldn’t do much. Just saw everything was gone except for fighting thralls. Tried logging on tonight and server doesn’t show. I’m all “all” setting.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
Start game
Choose PVE-C
Put on “All”
Select “favorite”, “history”…doesn’t matter. Can’t see anything.
I’m not sure what validating my local files means. I’ve been on this server for months. I was playing just find. I leave for three days, come back, and try for four days to get on but server won’t show. Tried various configurations. It finally showed on day five and I was able to get on only to find all my stuff had decayed. I couldn’t farm anything except animals. Logged off. Tried to log on a couple of days later and I can’t find the server. I’m not tech savvy. Sorry.
I did the validation and everything was validated. Tried finding my server again with no luck. Plenty of others show up! I refresh and get another batch of results. The same servers don’t show up each time. One time, only 35 servers were listed under “official” and only two of those in the 1500 series. I refreshed and 22 official servers were found and about six servers in the 1500 series appeared. Thanks for your help.
In addition to your server not showing up under history or favorites, it would seem that something is limiting the duration of your search time. Three clues that are beyond the scope of my experience.
The only suggestion I could make is to continue refreshing in the hope of your server appearing, and quickly making it a favorite. Still, that’s only a workaround and time-intensive, and may not return 1516. If you choose to do that, apply all the filters that a you know apply, limiting the pool of servers that are searched.
Perhaps someone here has more knowledge of the anomaly?
Download pingplotter and trace the jumps to the server.
I had issues a while back (few months back) trying to connect to the 1800s…theyd show up, vanish, I’d get kicked… etc. Similar to what you are describing.
It was puzzeling because all of the 1500 servers were fine. Just the 1800 ones seemed affected.
A few others on the server at the time had the same issue. Seemed to happen more at night during high traffic times.
Turned out my provider was fine, but one of the few last jumps before hitting the server, there was an issue which was out of my control…and out of funcoms/gportals control. (It was somewhere in California and I was coming from the midwest).
We had to wait about a week for it to get fixed.
Try using the Direct Connect button in the lower-left corner of the Server Browser, and then inputting the IP address and port number of the server. you can find these by looking up your server on BattleMetrics.com like so:
If you can connect directly, then at least we’ll know it’s just a problem with the server browser. Otherwise, if you can’t even connect directly, then it’s a more severe issue.
If you’ve already done file validation, then you might also want to try steps like unplugging your modem & router for a few minutes to let them reset, calling your ISP and asking them to help you get a new IP address, and even checking your antivirus and Windows Firewall to ensure that Conan and BattleEye are both allowed network access.
Thanks all. I tried direct connect. I cut and pasted each of the game port and query port. With game port, I got either “ping too high” or “authentication failed”. With query port, it said it timed out and couldn’t find the server. Since I have no idea what I’m doing I then tried only the IP and got the same timed out message.
I checked max pings/min and it’s the 5,000 default. Changed it to 250 with no effect.
I also downloaded Pingplotter. Does this mean anything? I appreciate all your help.
