I’ve been trying to connect to twitch to collect conan exiles drops and twitch will say I’m connected but the drops say I have to connect to collect them. I don’t know how to fix it or who to talk to about it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Same thing happening with me. I already had the Watcher Furniture, so was not worried about that. I did want the Katana, and Twitch says I earned it, but no way to get it in game. Twitch states my account is connected, but drops tell me I must connect. I just gave up.
It’s exactly the same. I have tried emailing but haven’t heard back from anyone yet. Sorry to hear it’s happening to you too but also glad I’m not the only one. I hate to give up on it though. It sounds like you got a drop at some point so you would think it wouldn’t be an issue. So weird. I wish I knew who to ask for help on this. Thanks for the reply.
The furniture twitch drops were offered a few years ago, I was able to get them then. Not sure why the twitch drops not working now. Irritating but hey, it’s a Funcom game we’re talking about so why do we expect anything to work like they say? My fault, I read their drop statement, went to twitch and watched until it said I earned the Katana… I should have known I was wasting my time.
Just an update.
I contacted Funcom through the Helpshift system.
They have communicated with me and are trying to help me with this issue.
Wether they can or not, I don’t know.
I just wanted to let everyone who reads this know, they are communicating and trying to help.
Funcom fixed the link. Everything is working properly now.
Thank you Funcom.
Same with me. May be a twitch issue since my blizzard games are doing the same thing. So frustrating. Still funcom needs to look into it.
Not working for me.
Have you contacted Funcom Support?
Have you contacted Twitch support?
When contacting either, be sure to reply to the automated email they send you.
Give them a detailed description of what you are experiencing.
I’m sure there are many reasons why the link doesn’t work for different people, but if you give them as much info as you can, they should get it fixed or give you a step by step to fix it.
For others having issues with drops not showing up in your Twitch/Settings/Drops page.
Twitch account Link to Conan Exiles Game.
- Open Conan Exiles Game. Stop at Main Menu.
- Click the link, bottom right, Connect account to Twitch.
If you get a Popup that says, “This account is already connected”, follow these instructions.
3. Open Twitch account, click settings, click the drops tab at top of settings window.
Does it show what drops for Conan you have earned? (Only drops earned within the last 6 months will show).
Yes. Then you are connected.
No. move to step 4.
4. Log out of Twitch. Go to Login Page for Twitch, but do not log in.
Instead, click the link stating, forgot my user name. It should ask for an email. Enter your email and check your email for a response.
Note: You can also use your phone number if you have set that up with Twitch.
Note: If you have more than one email, do that step for each email address you have.
This step is to see if there is a second Twitch account for you.
Log into each Twitch account, go to Settings and click the Drops tab at top of settings page.
See if any drops for Conan Exiles or other games show up.
Note: Only drops earned in the last 6 months will show up. Older drops will not.
If you have a second Twitch account, hopefully the drops will show up in one of them, if you have earned any drops.
From Conan Exiles Main Menu, if you get a popup that says “connect account to Twitch”.
- Follow the prompts until you see, account connected successfully.
- Log into Twitch, click settings and Drops tab at top of settings window.
If you have earned drops, within the last 6 months, they should show up.
If all else fails,
- Contact Twitch Support
- Contact Funcom Support.
When contacting either support team, be as descriptive as possible.
Give them as many details as you can so they understand your situation.
Key: When you contact either of the support teams, you will get an automated reply. Be sure to respond to that reply email with all of your description information.
It isn’t actually a Funcom issue.
Your game account can only be linked to one Twitch account.
That link doesn’t break.
What may cause an issue with the link?
A second Twitch account being linked to the Conan Exiles game.
A Twitch account that has been deactivated, that was previously linked to Conan Exiles.
So, if you end up with more than one Twitch account -
and you have your Conan Exiles game account linked to Twitch account A,
but you are watching videos and earning drops on Twitch account B,
Those drops earned on Twitch account B will not show up in game, because the Conan Exiles Game account does not know that second Twitch account B even exists.
The steps above will help you find out which Twitch account you have your Conan Exiles Game account linked to hopefully.
In my case I had a second Twitch account I did not remember having. So watching videos and earning drops on Twitch appeared to be working, but no drops showing up in game.
Once it was discovered I had an older Twitch account linked to Conan Exiles, watching videos and earning drops on that older account, drops showed up in game.
It was user error on my part.
This should be a pinned post! Thanks for this.
