Celebrating 6 years of conan exiles

That’s a pretty dismal PoV. You could say they are offering time limited items back so that people can get a chance to purchase but you decided to go all negative about it.

There is nothing wrong with providing opportunities for people to get access to items that they couldn’t before.

It’s just like the others have said in the thread about these items - Funcent will break the rules to get some extra cash.

You really can’t be positive about anything that is happening in here, but some of you refuse to take notice.

Twitch drops aren’t mandatory. If you don’t want X item, you don’t need to watch. Hell, even if there is an item on Twitch you want, you still don’t need to watch it. Step 1. Put on Twitch for X item. Step 2. Mute it. Step 3. Literally do anything else until the timer is done.

I know how it works, I still despise this kind of marketing

What specific rule did they break?

Do you promise?

This is exactly what has been missing from the Sacred Hunt.
Jhebbal Sag’s good kitteh head band!
It could come with the affectionate headbutt emote.
But even better, it could have the belly trap emote.
It looks like sleeping face up, but if anything touches you, it triggers a horrible counter attack like the greater tiger pounces of old!

This one is, of course, jesting.

Why, I’m expecting to see a nerf to Musashi’s Black Blade instead.

Or it’s removal from it’s guaranteed spawn point.
A far more elegant solution than rendering a legendary useless.

It could be replaced with Song of the Minstrel, an already Stygian themed katana of high but not legendary power.

with the major difference being, in 7 days to die you at least got the choice to roll back to a previous version that you liked, with conan exiles they force their rubbish on you with no way to roll back or do anything else to actually keep playing the game you bought.

or in other words, 1 just took a weird turn in development that ultimately is optional, the other turned into a scam.

Ooo! Bunny ears too?
And pig nose!

This will be fun!

why not directly a t-rex costume that barfs rotten breath at your enemies?
like come on, they derailed the game so much that even this wouldn’t stand out too much anymore

Conan vs T-Rex: apparently it’s a thing

The lore purist in me just died a little upon hearing this oxymoron.

Turn off text to speech, no one should have to hear this one’s mad ramblings.
Reading is safer.

How has the lore purist in you survived the Nemedian and Poitain Katanas?

We could call it a serpent themed long curved sword two handed agility weapon if you prefer…

Just as we could have called the Nemedian Katana a Kriegesmesser or the Poitain Katana a Great Sabre.
Or could have given the Bec De Corbin a model that didn’t look like a club.

This one does agree, at heart.
But this one uses absurdism to cope at times.
How else do we explain a society that near universally favours the agility trait having a strength weapon as their signature blade (glares at how bad Stygian thralls are at using the Khophesh)?

Ignorance is my shield.

But yeah, I think I’ll just keep brainwashing myself with the idea that they’re falchions/messers.

This one does not mean to harm you…

But you deserve better than such a flimsy and unworthy bulwark.
Tho it may hurt in the short term, cast aside the illusion of protection and instead gird yourself with a more resilient and righteous escutcheon. If nothing else, done the sour armour of the lemon knight, but do not adopt the ostrich defense posture. It only offers your neck more easily, and this one is not finished with your insights.
So please, do not embrace that path of sleepwalking to oblivion.

I’m already ignoring the existence of the entire Yamatai DLC.

Did you see those warriors from Hammerfell? They’ve got curved swords. Curved. Swords.:yum:

Men have liked curves since ancient times. That’s not culture specific.

I like that they’re celebrating 6 years of nothing but 16 years of Age of Conan completely ignoring @AndyB @Funcom
