Character transfer between private servers

Has anyone else done this ?

I did it with officials and it worked for me.

As i understand it, the private servers must have the option enabled.

Also, it is a one way street down the server list

Official PvP —> Any
Official PvE-C —> Official PvE-C and below
Official PvE —> Official PvE and below
Private —> Private

Ex: take character from PvP to PvE. Can thereafter only move to another PvE or Private.

Also seems to be bugged in that if the transfer fails for whatever reason, the player must contact support to have a chance to get it restored. I lost a character permanently transferring between two private servers.
