Character won't respawn after death

I am on Official Server 1964.

My character died, the countdown hits 0 and just stays there, nothing happened. Camera just rotates around character like usual death but stays there forever. I tried to relog but now I am just stuck at the loading screen forever, it won’t let me back into the server.

Very annoying since I was carrying a lot of building materials, took me a long time to gather.

Alot of us are having this problem, I can’t connect to 1952 Oceanic after death.
