Please can someone tell me if an officer can Rank new members up or is it only Clan Leader? TIA

I think they can. But most likely only to member most of our clans I have been leader. @HellgirlNZ

Yes, an officer can rank up, but I believe NOT to officer. They can only rank up to “member.” Only the owner can assign officers.
That being said, I only recommend assigning officer status—or even just inviting new members—to people that you trust fully. They can still do damage to the clan by taking stuff at no matter what rank. The permissions for clan status are only limited to a few items and containers.

Even lowest rank can demolish the building.
Cant access vaults. But can they demolish it?

I didn’t mean damage buildings when I said damage the clan.
I guess, if you’re lucky and they only empty chest and benches.
They could also remove the entire base and break bond with thralls pets.
Sometime you will kick someone out of your clan, for whatever reason. But if you forgot to remove their bed. They can still spawn in your base and do damage…
