I really did laugh at loud at that.
A more mmo’ish successor to CE using what they learn from the Dune development would certainly interest me more than Dune does. I won’t hold my breath however.
Alas, the tech/hardware to make my dream game doesn’t exist ATM or at least not affordably enough to be mainstream and worth the effort to develop for. Maybe one day.

What worries me is that on the streams Soe is asking questions to Joel, and he sometimes does not know the answer and it feels like he’s not working on the game directly but just talks to someone who is actually making it.
