Overall, cool concepts.

I am curious on your assassination concept. Little more info would be nice.

While not bringing horses with you inside a dungeon sounds like a great idea conceptually (realistically), but could cause issues since mobs outside will respawn and potentially kill the horse. Although technically a person could do so by putting the horse on guard before entering a dungeon / cave now. I think this is low wish list item to work on.

Exiled Lands map is pretty maxed out. (noted many times by the devs in the past) There is not much space left on it, and if they did stretch it, may cause more lag issues for official servers. Remember UE4 only allows 64 sq km max map size which both maps are based on (including the dungeons that are hidden on the map). IoS may have room for more (no idea though if that is true or not)

I think the building schematics sounds cool, but a bit time waste for developers to work on when people could watch a youtube video on various builds. Plus, people have their own style of building structures that may not even fit the Funcom created schematics.

I would skip the urination and defecation. That is me though.

I would love to see the buildings change with corruption after 3.0. You build a normal, boring tower, and the more demons you summon and dark rituals you complete causes things like the walls to change color, warp or the faces of souls in anguish start to imprint on them. Your crafting stations would start to look like they were being worked by the damned, that sort of thing. You could also have environmental changes, like it is always raining, and the stones and trees become twisted the closer you get to your evil lair.

That would make the whole game implode.
Consider you should add this VARIABLE MECHANIC to every single building part you place.

I would rather have SEASONS and see more/less snow in some areas of the map according to the season. And maybe have mobs and resources spawn consequently: for example in winter we can have sabertooth spawning in the whole North (cause the snowy biome will cover the whole north).

Mushrooms and Plants/Berries only grow in specific seasons.

Temperatures get more/less harsh, so that if you want to go on certain locations (such as Skyfall Ridge) you have to get epic cold-protection armors, or just wait for the Winter Season to end.

Farming could be more/less efficient
And night/day cycle could vary accordingly.

And, believe it or not, all these stuff would not stress the Game Engine as much as having corruption for buildings.

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool idea, I like it, but it’s not something we could have.

I think seasons itself would a major coding rework which is highly unlikely.

A mod author(s) came up with modifying the map with 4 mods, one for each season. Probably only way it could be done with UE. So you would change the map mod when you wanted to change the season.

Although, I always love to have seasons in games.

Night and day cycles that vary over time would be neat if there were seasons, otherwise, probably not a good idea if the map did not change much. Most hate nights, so this idea probably won’t be popular.

About the map change, I’m not entirely sure about that: probably the guys who did that were not able to do it elsewhere, but I think it’s possible to apply small changes without having to change whole map.

I mean, they just have to chance terrain textures and switch some objects to their “snowy” versions (which is technically not much different from when they crumble after being harvested).

The biggest problem would be changing ground textures - which will take away lots of performance - but it can be done during maintainance times.

About the nights … eh, I’m one of those who hate nights eheh
But it won’t be a problem if you have some Argossean Dream Dust, I think. The point is just to make it less rare.

I only have tried out Spring mod so not sure all of the changes per season but I can say the snow reaches farther south in the winter and plants look different in each season. Not sure about the excess water goes away in Summer or other seasons. Or there is less plant life in the winter.

It modifies EL map, expands it and make some other changes as well. It turns the map into a huge island.

All I want is an object that plays localized tavern/pub/bar music for the towns I build in game and stock with carousing thralls. For immersion purposes.

There could be big instruments like Harp and Drum Sets that have a seat for Entertainer.
When entertainer is placed there, it they music. It could be even expanded with various “recipes”, each one being a different rythm.

Or we could have “instruments” like weapons, to give the Thrall (entertainer) and have it play.
