If you can play it it’s not unplayable.

Hyperbole, dude. It’s “playable,” but it’s all definitely annoying. Fine splitting is being addressed, but no word on sorting yet.

Looking at an ant through a magnifying glass doesn’t make it a bigger threat.

Making something out to be a bigger problem then it actually is doesn’t make it a bigger problem.

I exist in a world between

and

All isn’t well.

That’s not the same thing as the world ending. So I would recommend that people not blow this issue out of proportion.

I do agree that inventory management is a major part of the game - a lot of stuff needs to be moved between containers, player inventory and workstations - and it needs to be as user-friendly as possible. If the UI is crap, it needs to be changed.

But the world didn’t end. The inventory management portion may not be as smooth as it should (even though I hate the sorting system less than I expected I would), but everything outside of that is still working… well, not perfectly, but as well as it ever did.

At our place everything is ok and we even like it.

The only thing worth changing

  1. no divide of stacks

Deacon and Kapoteeni be like : come on guys don’t exagerate, it’s not that bad, take it on the chin.
Meanwhile : another 30% player base drop like last chapter xD

Unless someone has a phobia or other such issue, wherein the danger is as much (if not more) in the mind as it is in the world.

Can you quote a source for these statistics?

I kind of love that you just keep posting this .gif instead of saying something…

Anyway - the game isn’t unplayable with the new UI but it’s not enjoyable with the new UI. I want the old UI back along with the old split stack function and old right mouse button use/equip function. Hopefully Funcom will put them both back to normal PROPERLY, and if not hopefully I’ll be able to find the right line in the .ini files to put it back to what it was before.

I know there is a language barrier between us, but could you please stop spamming this gif on every thread? It’s not constructive in any way.

Exactly.

Pretty easy to check on the Steam player numbers on the DB website and yes, they have dropped more than a bit since last year. 20,771 peak player count in April 2023, 11,964 peak in the last 30 days and it’s been hovering in the 12k range for a few months. Hasn’t broken 20k players peak since July last year.

https://steamdb.info/app/440900/charts/

As for console counts - no idea.

It isn’t a 30 percent drop, SteamDB doesn’t show this, but on an anecdotal reference, on our official servers, active and new player numbers were getting lower over the past weeks and in the past 3 days, despite the new patch, they were even lower.
First time i am seeing this

Indeed. There was a peak in player count during a free week in Steam. Then we see lower peaks around every update (although one is in last January because the December update was a disaster that wasn’t fixed until January).

It’s a pretty normal curve. Every update brings in a peak because players want to test new things, then the count steadily drops until a new update comes.

Looking at the long-term trends, yes, there is a recent drop in players, but it’s also worth noting that between September 2022 and August 2023 there was a substantial increase in the average player numbers, which have now fallen to around the early 2022 levels.

I’m not happy about the direction in which the game’s development is going either, but neither am I happy with people casually throwing misunderstood statistics around to prove a point.

Probably good to toss this info on here since people are making claims of 30% drops that don’t seem to be accurate (on Steam at least…). Folks do need to consider the long term which is why I compared the current numbers to last year, and noted the last 20k+ peak was last summer.

Xbox is meh right now.

For a real comparison I’d have to wait for active pvp hours.

It’s hard when the servers are constantly going down.
