When trying to connect, at first there was a message - “online play is restricted”. On subsequent connection attempts, an error appears - “Identification Error”. (at the same time, 15 players are shown online on the server)

I’m just getting the “online play is restricted” warning and can’t log in. Perhaps services are down?
I read on the forum that this error was earlier and the administration fixed it. So we’ll have to wait for it to be repaired (and thanks for the correct translation, (I have the Russian language of the game client and translated it incorrectly)

After several tries (Steam online services are unresponsive) I’ve got this : Unable to login, please restart or try again later. Continuing in Offline Mode in which only Single-player mode is available.

I’ve been having the same problem for the last 20 minutes
I too am receiving the error message: “Unable to login, please restart or try again later. Continuing in offline mode in which only Single-player mode is available.” All downloads have been completed, local files verified. Restarted Steam, BattlEye is disabled as the server I play on does not use it.
I just closed out Steam completely, got back in, restarted the game, and it popped the error again. But when I clicked “retry login” it instantly logged me in. Hopefully the services are up or this tactic works for others.

Same too, I was able to log in to the game only on the 6th attempt with some pauses between login attempts
But my friend is still trying to do it.
Had to close steam, uninstall and reinstall Battle Eye. Seems to be on. Now fish can cook in the background while I work some more.
The Live Services are currently hit by partial outages.
Well, I flushed my DNS cache and I connected to “Live Services,” but now get a new error message: “Authentication failed!”
I don’t know how for others, but my friend and I have finally logged in and the problem has been solve for me personally. Thank you all for your attention to the topic. My conclusion is this: the servers were partially unavailable, but now…somewhere out there …something was done and repaired and everything work)
What finally worked for me and one other was to clear our DNS cashes…
