Consistent Freezing

I play on single player and after 5 minutes of game play I will freeze/lag every 2 seconds. Sometimes the game crashes, other times it keeps me in this purgatory for hours. I’ve adjusted the mods, deleted and reinstalled. Is it a memory issue? I’m lost

MODS List in order:

Devious Desires
Agony’s Attic
Barbarian Barber
Juvilia’s Crabby Fashion
Shani’s Stuff

Wrong forum I fear - Funcom don’t/can’t get involved with Modded stuff. Best if you pop on over to check the respective Discord groups for the mods.

You will have to check there to see whether there are any conflicts and whether you have issues with that mod loading order.

Also, are you referring to Solo play, Server, Co-Op, etc? You need to check that in either the Discord channel or even just the respective Steam Mod comments.

Uninstall all mods

Search for folders named 440900 delete these folders, there should be two.
Those folders are where mods are actually stored, sometimes the mod doesn’t
get removed when you uninstall it.

Then verify file integrity, this is important because if you don’t the game will CDT.

Load the game, if it runs alright you can then start reinstalling mods.
Do it one at a time. Test the game play as you go.

When you begin to experience problems, the last mod installed is the issue.

good luck.

@droch-aon offers good advice on how to thoroughly test. I can maybe add a couple of points (however - I don’t know the mods by their ‘.pak’ names, so am having to guess at a couple of them) -

‘ImprovedThrallsAndQoL.pak’ - if this is ‘Better Thralls’, then it is worth knowing that the mod creator has stopped support for this mod, so it may no longer be fully functional (it may still be OK, just worth knowing it is a potential problem as time goes on).

‘ModAdmin.pak’ - if this is ‘ModControlPanel’ (required for LBPR) then I’ve always found it is best placed right at the top of the list.

‘immersivearmor.pak’ - this is another mod that has been discontinued - it has been taken over by a new modder and is available as ‘Cookie’s Immersive Armor Reupload’ - you should switch to using that version instead (available - Steam Workshop::Cookie's Immersive Armor Reupload 0.0.3 )

If, as it looks like it may be, ‘Cookie_Skinnery.pak’ is also one of Cookie’s mods, that may also have been discontinued - it is probably a good idea to check the steam page for that mod and see if there may be a reupload version somewhere.

In fact, it’s probably a good idea to check the mod pages for each of the mods you are using as a quite a few modders have quit over the past year or so, and it may be that some of your other mods could be out of date for that reason.
