Ours has suddenly also been doing this for about the last 3 days only. Before that we were playing fine for hours on end. Last night it crashed again and when I logged back in I was suddenly a man and my sister too. We both had nothing in our wheels and all her journey steps had been reset to 0. How does one fix this?

Hi @VixenGotShot. Yikes! I had yet to encounter that iteration of the crashes. I probably will not be able to fix this, but I will try to offer some help and workarounds. I play Offline Singleplayer, and I get the hourly crashes, but have never had my characters gender change or found my wheel empty or journey steps reset. I do recall that there was an issue derived from playstations going into hibernation in the recent past. Has yours and/or your sisters playstations gone into hibernation previously? Also, you noted that you both play co-op, do one of you have Admin access available?

If you and your family are playing single player via ps4 or ps5 , at the main menu of your console go on the game and press the options button and click the ps plus icon which says upload/download game data to backup your save file to keep your progress safe or download it in case if your save file on your console gets corrupted or you come across with the rare stability bug that vanishes your base.
