Good morning .
Let me first of all welcome you to the Conan Exile forums itself.
Please note that Conan Exile is very poorly optimized on PS4. Particularly if you play solo, the game data is directly supported by your console unlike the online versions which are on the servers .
The more you build, place decorations, enslave NPCs, the more your PS4 will have difficulty handling the game. To run Conan Exile correctly you need a minimum of 10ga of ram excluding the ps4 cap at around 8ga of ram.
Basically therefore the PS4 is not powerful for Conan Exile. You could nevertheless try to solve this using an external hard drive. When I played on PS4 I invariably had errors when I exceed a threshold in solo mode (number of construction pieces, plaster and enslave) .
The use of an external hard drive has reduced this.
You could also try a “plump without failure” to do this :
-1 Discuss your console by applying on the ON/ OFS key and keep your finger on it.
-2 Once your console is turned off, light it with the on/of button, holding your finger several seconds until you hear a beep.
If you had properly proceeding a spat will appear with several options, notably “repair the system and empty the caches” .
You would find the laprocédure tutorials "Fashion without failure on the PlayStation forums. Good luck .
Thank you I will try these suggestions
People love to blame Funcom for everything. It is amazing they still hear you as often as they do.
Consoles are indeed different from PC. One of the main things is that Consoles are coded under a SO that even when it is WINDOWS (XBOX), the SO is fully tangled with the Hardware, so a game that might be “poorly optimized” to Consoles cannot breach barriers the Console has that the PC does not.
In a PC i can right now open the browser and write a command that will instantly create a blue screen. It is that easy, and it is not because of “poorly optimization”.
In a console, you cant do that, because the system is aware of its hardware so if it receives a command that is out of scope, out of structure, or out of bounds, it knows it, and it does not try to execute it. When you get hardware in a console, it either understands if fully, or dont understand it at all. Unless YOU do those “jailbreak” idiotic stuff and etc. Then the problem is YOU.
So yeah, the “bad optimization crowd” think they have a reason to say it is not a console problem because it happens to “many people”, or because it happens “to specific games” or etc. But the fundamental problem is that almost no one really takes care of their consoles as per their manufacturer tells them to.
The fact that ONE single player has absolutely no problems is already an argument for defeating the assertion that it is a GAME PROBLEM, because if it was, NONE would be spared. Starts there.
