PVE - Official Server 8058 (but issue happens on every server, even if in single player mode)
Ground terrain will not load properly. Sky, ground and rock textures look very blurry and do not conform to actual walkable terrain.
The game lags a bit and crashes when trying to open chests, crafting tables or sometimes the market tab.
Sometimes it just crashes randomly because I turned too fast… or something. I’ve never managed to be on for more than 20 minutes without it freezing or crashing. Sorcery is nearly impossible as it causes the game to freeze. the teleport stone and ice bridge are guaranteed to crash the game… haven’t even tried firewall or lightning. It definitely seems like a graphics handling issue.
I spent more time restarting the game after crashes than actually playing it (Conan Exile’s PS4 load screen into a server is ridiculously long)
The game is nearly unplayable and 100% frustrating. I can’t venture too far from my base, as I don’t want to crash somewhere dangerous.
My wife plays on our PS5 and has none of these issues.
I play on ps5 and it happens around larger bases or heavy build zones. There’s no escaping it. I freeze or crash at my main base all the time. This an optimization issue, obviously. They need to optimize the game properly. I had no issues with this prior to 3.0. Now it happens constantly.
it has become clearly impossible to play on ps4 for the official server , I let go, we can no longer play quietly! its crash every 2 steps, in 30 min of play, its crash every 5 min, frankly it’s abused! I don’t know what you devs are doing! it’s already been 2 updates where it’s supposed to be fixed, but no, it adds even more bugs! CLEARLY ABUSED, we have no info if the devs are working on it nothing at all, we have the impression of being left with unplayable bugs
You only chance to play Conan Exiles is to play on official server.I dunno how private or modded servers are doing but I retuned to my old official european PVE server. It will still freeze/crash every now and then but not as often as on Single Player.

Bug Description:
Game crashes constantly, can’t load into server. Once I do get loaded in, I typically crash within minutes just by trying to walk around. Most of the time when I try to load, it also immediately boots me and gives an error- “disconnected from server”. This is after the 3.02 patch. The game is completely unplayable. Ps4, wireless connection. I have already tried reinstalling the game. I have tried both saving internally and saving on an external drive. I have tried restarting the ps4. Nothing works.
After the patch, the game is Still freezing/crashing. I noticed it’s MANY times when i return back to my base from the world. The rendering is not going well in general and maybe overloading something it would seem. Funcom, you did not test this at ALL on console or this would have been noticed. These are extremely serious issues , which are making it VERY difficult to play the game. I Love this game, you guys have done well so far, but i didn’t expect you to release something that is obviously Dysfunctional. Either put it back to where we had a working game, Fix the issue and give me an ETA, OR i have to eventually move on. What’s it gonna be?
After update 1.80 the game crashed at loading and after update 1.81 it still doesn’t load. Problem not resolved. They should change the name from Age of Sorcery to Age of not Loading. I will show my age but i started playing video games on the Commodore Vic-20 later on the Commodore C-64 , Amiga 1000, Amiga 2000, PC, First XBox, XBox 360, PS3, and now PS4. I can say that Conan Exiles is the buggiest game i’ve ever played. Pitiful.
We have a big pvp clan, of usually 15+ people playing.
Lots of us that did play on PS4 left the game already, but came back because of Sorcery. We finally had our full clan back, ready to make some nice content.
But guess what, we got screwed. Our buddies that crash or freese before they even logged in.
And then our ps5 group that got caught by PS3 loading times.
Then add those nice lightning spells wich mesh inside bases and you are basically just wasting your time.
We left conan today, hoping that one day the game will be fixed. Hoping that the player base will survive it. But for now we moved to a other pvp game.
I’m hoping the come out with a real update too fix the issues , my clan has the same problem and we are also big but the ps5 guys are managing a lot better than ps4 guys. The pvp is finally fun and want to raid but it’s hard with all the lagg and magic causing people to freeze and blue screen
Our PS5 group also normally manage the problems. But on 40/40 servers with 10-15 in que and freezing and ps3 loading times, its hurting our fun to much.
