you would have managed to release the Corinthian bookcase WITHOUT it being broken to start with just like the Nemedian bookcase. But no, you released this one broken as well. Good job guys. Super impressive quality control. The books disappear as soon as you place the bookcase. Some have said they reappear if you log off and back on. That’s still not acceptable.
The animation on the telescope is broken as well. Your character bends to look through it for like a nanosecond. And even that is really jerky and unnatural.
I am frankly astonished (though by now perhaps I should not be) that you keep putting out completely untested and BROKEN items in your cash shop where you just keep raising the prices. And then you generally don’t even fix the problems with them.
I would very much like to hear back from a Funcom rep letting us know what the status is for a fix on these items.
I know I, for one, have finally learned my lesson. I won’t be buying anything unless it’s reviewed by someone else first. And that probably means I’ll “miss out” on a lot of things. But guess what? I can live with that. And I encourage others to do the same.
Wow, about $30.- for decorative items and two of them are broken.
I know I’m an grumpy old gamer, but I cant help, sounds almost like a scam to me.
I mean I spend a lot of money into games and have fun, but this is a joke.
For these bucks I can get entire games or DLCs.
I don’t know who to blame (FC or Tencent), but please get away from you silly marketing. Your reputation is already below zero.
While this one agrees with the vast majority of your post, this one does ask that we hold off on judging the 6 month update cycle until we have at least seen what one of them produces.
But if you want to lambaste the tacked on Chapter 4, that’s perfectly reasonable as it failed to deliver.
you can tell right now with the celestial scholar/
this was released after their annoucement. and it came bugged , a set that not only one thing came broken but two, and they also increased the price to almost 30 dollars.
why is it that hard to test it before launching it?
Not to mention. If they come to check reports on server about someone breaking rules.
If that someone has lots of bazzar stuff.
Admin will look away. They know where money is coming from.
Celestial Scholar isn’t new.
It’s new to the Bazaar, but it already had one round of bug fixes before it released, those are in the previous patch notes.
Which now makes this one curious as to how bad it was before it dropped.
This one thinks we should see what is created at the end of the first 6 months cycle first.
Celestial Scholar was released after the stream saying they are not competent to produce at the pace they are producing, even with the extra (3 months at the time) Chapter… but it was already existent before then.
Everyone who finds this interesting should stroll the admin panel and look at what got changed after each patch.
Fascinating stuff in there.
Of course, the other thing we are all overlooking is that it’s the updates that are getting pushed out to 6 months. The updates to the base game.
You know the thing that doesn’t make money.
The monetization will never be delayed.
That won’t happen until the game sunsets.
So long as the sets, released broken or incomplete, sell, they will keep that treadmill exactly as is.
yah i really dont understand why you folks keep buying this stuff? after so many buyer beware moments like this, it’s better to just lay off. they arent gonna sell better stuff if people keep throwing money at subpar stuff.
No see, I would have expected exactly the opposite. I would have expected it to be quite broken indeed.
I see that I have not been let down.
Nor should it be!
This is rather unsurprising as well sadly.
I put some emphasis in there for you to highlight the part of this that shows you where you already realize that you really SHOULD NOT BE ASTONISHED AT ALL. This is literally par for the course by this point in time. Should it be? Of course not, but it is and I fail to see why anyone in their right mind would bother to spend their money on what they know to be broken incomplete sets at this point int time until Funcom gets their shyte together.
I find this extremely unlikely to occur, but I would also be interested to see what “excuse” they offer.
this is sadly the right way to approach this “buyer be ware” cash grab shop which has proven from day one to be highly untrustworthy. I am highly sympathetic to you however and I am sorry that you have had to deal with such a bad experience to learn this lesson. The sad thing is I do not think that they will even offer a refund on this purchase, though I suppose you can attempt to ask for one via zendesk? Though you may wish to wait and “hope” that they actually fix these items, though I personally would not hold my breath.
Absolute BS statement. I’ve seen a few different people get wiped and suspended with tons of Bazaar items. Stop perpetuating this myth. Seems you got pissy about one player and things didn’t go your way, now you’re blaming Funcom for favoring them for having Bazaar items. Can’t tell you what your particular circumstances are, but I guarantee you it wasn’t because one player whaled in the Bazaar.
