Corrupted Powder no longer dropping in The Summoning Place chests

My experience when you grab only 2-3 things, say Powder, Bones, Coin in this case, then run outside and camp for respawn (or leave the area entirely) is this… I’ll return and when I LOOK at the chest and get the quick access box, the contents are the way I left them, minus the three objects. When I then E on the chest and the actual window opens, the inventory is new.

I had to verifie file via Steam to make the damn book appear.
This may be just me and my game, or also happen to others.

And yes, some videos made earlier can be disturbing to.

I appreciate what they are trying to do by limiting the drops and creating game play loops for players to cross paths, but i don’t understand how making bombs is far easier. By the time i get lucky and get a spawn of corrupted powder in the chest (enough for maybe 4 max undeads), i could have made a brimstone run, and skinned enough hide to make 4000 Steel fire (400 to 800 bombs depending on alchemist level). You want a gameplay loop, shrink the amount of brimstone by 4, but up the spawn to every 15 minutes instead of hour. Then you will have a game play loop.

oh? they changed it then?

I know quite awhile ago that was not the case so i have been just running on the assumption it was still the same. I.e loot 1 / 2 items… wait for re-spawn and check chest and its all the same…

I will def check it out cause if that is the case ill be glad…

I do know that chests still bug out though, they do not always re-spawn properly, least not on the official server iv been playing on.

just the other day i went through the summoning place and looted everything, set up camp and waited for re-spawn and looted again, i did it about 3 times then on the 4th chests did not re-spawn items at all, had to break em and force a full re-spawn on em.

if they don’t respawn destroy them and wait for respawn that’s what was working on testlive

How long is the respawn that you wait for?
