Crafter thralls for hire?

I know there are a couple you can get from vendors, but I’d love to see all crafter thralls available for “purchase”. As an RPer at heart, and someone who likes to be the hero, I’d love a way to hire crafters for my benches. The ones you buy from vendors could be viewed as buying slaves, or as hiring (that’s how I would view it).

I don’t object to slavery being in the game, especially for those who like to play the barbarians. It’s fitting. I’d just prefer us to have an option to get tier 4 crafters for our benches without taking slaves.

Only alchemists and rng of course. Another good reason for a greater market. I totally agree :+1:t6:.

Well, think about it this way… (load of bs comming ) the KO part is bad. It’s hard to justify. But after that, it’s a day doing less workout then I do at the gym. In exchange, you dress them, give them shelter, good food, the best weapons… did they have any of that in whatever miserable camp they used to live?
Or you change your mind, strip their clothes and slit their throat.
On Siptah you can release them from cages, but you won’t go far with those thralls.
I do support your proposal. It would be cool if we could hire thralls, but good ones. A periodical fee. Failing, they would leave.

I purposely knock out “prisoner” thralls, put them in a wheel, break them, then strip them of their clothing and weapons, and put them in a cell in my prison. Is that bad? I actually brought a couple over from EL to siptah, just so I could have legit prisoners lol…

It’s a game, @jmk1999 . We’re sliting throats now for ritual sacrifice. :joy:
We can’t think in terms of real life morals.
You can’t imagine my wife’s face when she saw me doing it!

I’m actually leveling her up on siptah, for survivability, then I’ll likely strip her again. Lol…

Check out the livestream. You’ll be able to purchase crafting thralls in the next update.

In my headcanon, using the truncheon is the “negotiations” phase of a recruitment process; the Wheel of fortune is the internship period; and then the happy worker gets to work. As their employer it is my responsibility to provide a safe working environment (for the crafters only, of course - being a warrior means you accept some risks to your health and safety) and quality tools.

The Siptah cages were a nice feature, and a step in the right direction, but as far as I know they’re still limited to placeable thralls, not crafters.
