Crafting thralls randomly dying deep inside base

Basic Info:

Platform: PlayStation 5
Issue Type: Gameplay
Game Mode: Online Official
Server Type: PvE
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: 3734

Bug Description:

Starting April 20th I’ve had numerous crafting thralls randomly dying in my base. Enemies can’t get in, and the thralls can’t get out. And now that we can’t remove thralls from benches with living settlements, I have no way to protect them from dying. Please sort this out. I am cautious to keep replacing thralls that may die at any time.

Most likely this is related to an ongoing bug with Living Settlements (there’ve been a lot of reports of this). The good news is that Funcom has acknowledged and, most recently has agreed that they will once again turn off Living Settlements on Official Servers (see here for the announcment) some point next week. I’d suggest holding off on replacements until the system is off, but then (in theory) you should be okay (at least for now…).

What a joke. Up to 11 dead crafting and priest thralls now. Now I’m losing rare purge thralls I can’t replace. Absolute effing joke.

I moved all my crafting thralls away from a medium sized outpost and left them standing around in a main base. This was after Risa The Brutal and Sayd Secretkeeper both died due to the living settlements bug. The rest of the thralls who are impossible to replace were moved to avoid dying like that. Varia of The Furnace and Harald The White, from an original Frost Giant Purge are the two rare ones I would rather not lose to that glitch.

I’M STILL LOSING GOD*MNED CRAFTING THRALLS.

I’ve lost 12 now. I’m losing rare thralls I can’t replace in game. You said you were turning off living settlements. You haven’t. I disabled my benches and they are still dying. If you’re not going to bother just tell us. Since the March “fix” the game is laggy and slow and chests and inventory take ages to render.

This is a joke.

Unfortunately anything we say here right now is not going to be acknowledged, probably not even seen, until their regular workday starts on Monday.

While we wait for them to address this egregious situation, consider holing them up in a walled room.

I have. The one I lost today was sealed in a 2x2 room and still died.

Did you disable use on everything?
