This is what you said in your opening post. In other words, your entire idea is based on the assumption that there are empty servers that can be modified according to your idea.
So it is, in fact, essential that we establish whether empty servers exist before going any further.
The point of the post wasnāt about empty servers, but about the fact that we want hardcore servers to launch. The game has degenerated into some kind of Sims and construction simulator. Give us back the survival game.
If you want to build a house on empty land, you first need to make sure there is empty land.
If you want hardcore servers, you first need to make sure there are available servers.
You seem to be under the assumption that there are servers that can be freely utilized for your purposes. Like in my metaphor about wanting to build a house, early Americans saw lots of empty land for building their houses - all they needed was to move the natives away from that land.
So now consider what was the criteria for the server merges?
I think what OP is trying to say is: barely any player servers.
They do exist.
I realize that even 1 player existing on a server doesnāt make it dead but it doesnāt make it alive either.
Obviously opening more servers is unrealistic. While I donāt necessarily agree with OPs proposal I see where theyāre trying to make a suggestion that has the least impact.
As Iāve said Iād love a more hard core game as far as the survival aspect. For people like me, that have been played for ever, the first 20 levels are slick and easy and you only die if you get stupid over confident.
Iād love to see the environment play are far more critical role in your survive. funcom has made the game such a casual, easy game, itās gotten boring.
thse servers existed, long ago, i loooved them, the single player pvpā¦ which i suuucked at was good.
i belive they were calledā¦i cant remember, they def existed
the unfortunate truth, my base would be demolished when im at work, that doews not bother me, but as a single player pvp, i cant rely on the set rules made by the top dog on the server (and there are a few)
my times on pvp servers were pretty good, besides the undermeshish shit, mostly nice and helpful dudes (they want to fight, not rule over a bowl f ashes)
