Hi all I play Conan on the PS4 I’m on a private server and yesterday a player in our community posted a pic of him having 3 crossbows I have not seen these before on this game not for PS4 I also went on to single player in admin mode and could not find the crossbow I also have been on the Conan wiki and nothing apart from they used to be or was at some point add them to the game how has he got these weapos any help or info would be much appreciated also there is nothing on YouTube apart from a firesparks81 video from last year but even he says they not in the game
Sounds like photo shop. Could you send a picture. I could see PC mods do that but not PS4 though I wish we could have crossbows.

The pics could be from early access PC. There were crossbows if i am ot mistaken, but removed pretty early on in development, because they couldn’t be balanced into what they (Funcom) wanted combat to be.

Yep, crossbows were in the game, when the new combat system was introduced crossbows couldn’t be brought into balance. so they were removed.

Go into admin panel go to search for crossbow in thralls after that spawn in thrall make sure its converted thrall place them down and there is test thralls with the crossbows you can take it out there inventory. A couple months after the game came out you could just go to weapons and find the bolts as well to shoot the crossbows they removed them really quickly when I mentioned it on one of there live streams that I had them in my single player on ps4. Hopefully they bring those back with some reworked as they sucked really bad still cool to shoot them but really slow reloading and not much damage. Firespark81 has an old upload talking about them using the pippi mod since that mod shows everything in the game even if it can’t be searched in the normal admin panel.

I am one player who would REALLY like to see Crossbows make a return to Conan Exiles. They looked like a lot of fun! Furthermore, they would compliament our ranged weapon sets nicely. Devs if you are reading this, please bring Crossbows back…
