+1000 on these. I view the reasoning for this as a result of the ‘toxic’ update. Never mind the legit reasoning behind why they did it, the result is less ‘new’ players stick around because they repeatedly get killed while offline.

Remember the days when you could tell they were new / low-level and you would gift them a slightly better tool or weapon? Or maybe you dyed their armor pink and loaded their inventory up with rock or dung.

Idea - make it so the players inventory can be seen but not interacted with. Then a more informed decision can be made on whether or not to kill them.
