As much as i like incorporating curtains in some bases, i always end up using the same two.
Mostly because curtains cannot be flipped/mirrored.
If possible, it’d be nice for the single (left) curtain to have a right curtain as well, as you can only reasonably place it on the left side of something or above a single doorway or window. That, or allow us to spin it around and attach it.
This should probably also be kept in mind if any different curtains are being designed for sale in the bazaar.
I encountered this very thing today, actually! I was incredulous that there was not a reverse side curtain. Or a means of alternating the piece’s orientation like you describe.
Instead - I simply have to live with the curtain being that of a sort of wall decor - and that they happen to all be gathered and tied in the same direction.
I complained about this about as soon as the Debaucheries DLC was released, and got an actual dev reply that they had no intention to add a right-side curtain.
This does not mean that they won’t be selling a Bazaar item at some point. But, you know, all of the people who want developers to communicate: God answers all prayers. Usually the answer is “no”.
That’s one thing at least. Sometimes they go back and fix Bazaar items, as opposed to DLC which a few of are forever frozen in half complete states.
