Dead animals huge dead blanket

Do we know if they are already working on this?
I encountered this a few times now where I can’t target a corpse or knocked out thrall. What I noticed was that it did not say the name of the Thrall but instead corpse. Then I noticed that each time this happends to me there is a dead animal close by blocking access to the corpse with a far to large dead model.

What you are unfortunately experiencing is over-exaggerated hit boxes that don’t fit the “victim”. It has been brought up several times before on the UE4 version and it should have been fixed a long time ago.
The unfortunate truth is, nobody has bothered to fix that issue before UE4 was upgraded to UE5.

All it did was bring over with it many of the old problems that existed in UE4.

That is clearly evidenced by the flood of “bug reports” and needless to say, complaints.

People are justifiably … angry (to say it politely) and I’m one of them.

I don’t know if it has been reported in exactly this form - probably be good to drop a report over on helpshift - Contact Us — Conan Exiles Help Center Now that you mention it, I think I’ve run into it a few times, but hadn’t really registered what was going on (they were all dead anyway so just skinned everything and looted the bag…)

Yeah, I can’t help but remember it in the UE4 version.

I had two alpha wolves as followers and they both were at least 5m behind me.

I attacked a corrupted wolf in front of me with a melee weapon. (back then I had PVP enabled) and because I had not enabled DBNO, my two pet alphas were instantly killed. I had damage settings tweaked to 5x.

Unfortunately, it still happens now in the UE5 version, but luckily this time, I have DBNO enabled and set it to PVE this time to avoid this from happening again. It is clearly obvious when I shoot at an enemy in front of me (even at a distance) and my pet who is behind me takes the arrow instead.

I dare not re-enable PVP or disable DBNO.
