Would be awesome if during a Rain Storm with thunder and lightning that some lightning would reach the ground and cause heavy splash damage, stun and darken the screen of anyone within 20 feet of the strike and just darken the screen for anyone within 50 feet, anyone 51 feet or further no debilitating effect just a cool special effect seeing a bolt of lightning hit the ground and fry anyone within range.
But not entirely since a full set of metal based armor would provide a type of Faraday Cage effect, causing no harm to the wearer. But it would make for one hell of a fearsome light show.
Just don’t hold your metal based weapon above your head during the lightning storm.
