I was doing a reflection last night. I thought that in this fantastic game there is no kind of vacation mode. I am lucky to be able to log in every day, and I spent almost a thousand hours on the game. I would really mind, if I were to leave for a few days, and upon my return, I found my base and the wealth I accumulated destroyed by the decay system. which in my opinion is even revised, as it was able to take away, at a restart of the server, an entire structure that contained a map, in which it passes every day. I think it’s the decay system, the thing that most discourages players. Thanks
You make a very valid point. Like you, I am lucky that I can log in everyday, but there are times that I have not been able to and the decay systems removing my stuff is always on my mind. However, it is a multiplayer game and without the system, we will be full of hundreds of abandoned bases, so in the end, I guess is something we must all, who do not play solo, learn to live with.
It would take an app or system that allows you to reset the decay system timer, at least where the unconscious body of the player is, without having to log in from the PC. There has to be a way to differentiate a player on vacation a week, from a player he has abandoned. For buildings, it could be done as with doors, once degraded, they can be destroyed by passing players.
I agree with you. It would be nice to have some system to differentiate between the player on vacation and the player who has abandoned the server. I’m not sure if this would be something that would take too many resources to implement, but it would be ideal to have.
