Dedicated Private Server Woe's

Need some help. Trying to setup a Dedicated server and no one can log in. I have whitelisting enabled, and the whitelist file has the correct id’s in it. When someone trying to connect this shows in the log.

Anyone have any clue on how to fis this? There are no mods, it’s all stock right now.

Anyone at funcom have a solution?

You basicly killed your player base on your servers.

At this point. I’ve disabled server password, disabled server whitelist.

Confirmed the ports are open UDP 7777, 7778, 14001, and 56800, and TCP 25575. We had a Ark Server running on this deadicated box and we were connecting just fine (the ark server is shutdown now so no port in use conflict).

Players can randomly connect. But 99% of the time they are greated with an Auth Failed Message. The server also does not show in the browser at all.

Really funcom please fix what ever is broken.

I’m even getting Auth Failed on live servers. Any update on when this distraster of a live service roll out will be fixed?

With the patch yesterday…

Still auth failed even with the passwords and whitelists disabled…

Anyone got any idea’s?

I don’t know enough about dedicated servers to help, but a few days ago, @Ignasis moved a thread from the bug report category and merged it into the sticky thread for dedicated server tool. So you might get the best help by reading/posting in that thread.

I am using that tool, i’ll try posting there. But i’ve started to think that FunCom just screwed everything up and don’t really care. I mean how long did it take them to push that patch and it’s still not all fixed yet.

Are you running your dedicated on the same hardware as your client? I.e. you use same PC that you launch conan?

I’ve seen that doing this causes issues with funcom live services.

Also, ports being open, they are open on your hardware firewall and locally on the server firewall?
