Dedicated server | disconnect an active player upon login of a new player

I’m guessing this will be a long shot.

My partner and I wanted to play the game over a LAN setup. Since it’s my job to maintain servers I figured setting up a dedicated server couldn’t have been much problem. I’ve set one up and everything went fine, aside from having to deal with non relevant bugs.

Until the last update landed. For some reason it all went bonkers. The server kept getting fatal crashes.
Once I managed to work out the fatal crashes we couldn’t login at the same time. Once I try to login while my partner is playing she just gets kicked out. No error, no message, nothing.

Checking the server logs didn’t reveal much neither.
There’s this: “UNetDriver::TickDispatch: Very long time between ticks.” which hardly seems relevant. There’s no mention of a player disconnecting.
I eventually managed to repair that by deleting everything and rebuilding the server from scratch.
I had to wipe everything in the process, which was a bummer, but at least we could play again.

Until today, which is literally one day later. We can’t seem to login at the same time again. Once I try to login while she’s playing she just gets kicked out and vice versa. No error, no message, nothing.

Mods, no mods. Nothing changes. Everything worked fine yesterday after but after one day of play we’re getting this.

What gives?

I can’t make any guarantees that I can help you with this, but I’d be happy to give it a shot. Since I’ll need some system information, it would be best to do this through the normal tech support channels. Please make a help ticket at help.funcom.com/ and I’ll be happy to try to assist you with troubleshooting.
