I’ve built the delving bench, put 50 eldarium in and tried to delve hardened steel daggers, perfected hardened steel daggers, and star metal daggers. None of them will go. All are at 100% durability. The star metal and plain hardened steel ones are freshly crafted.
I’m not willing to sacrifice legendary daggers to see if they might delve.
I tried moving the bench to another location, and dismantling and rebuilding it, but it made no difference.
Not sure if all delving is broken since I have very little eldarium as yet and daggers are my priority.
I have images but since I’m a new user it won’t let me upload them but they just show the bench with the eldarium and daggers in the delve section not going anywhere.
Question is this: was it an intended change?
On one hand it fits with everything else they’ve done to make the game easier.
On the other hand, there have been so many unintended changes they seem unaware of every patch so it fits in line with that too…
If they’ve truly done that, it makes my delving bench useless on Exiled Lands since I only have eldarium bars… and that’s all you can get from the rare drops of scrap. I have no issues with adding decayed eldarium to the drops, but I really wish they’d keep the bars option as well. Some of us actually use eldarium OUTSIDE siptah as well.
It might be intended. While I was going through the journey step, I tried putting eldarium bars in. I then saw the journey didnt call for me to smelt decaying eldarium, just to collect it. My thought process was, “Ok, so if bars arent working, then I should try regilar eldarium.” I figured if it called for bars then the journey would instruct me to either collect bars or smelt them. It didn’t, so I opted to use decaying instead.
