Died when logged out

I have had a base for 6 months. I go to sleep (log out) in base naked all the time. base is in desert.

Today I died upon logging back in after logging out naked… all my things decayed. event loog says temperature changes.

■■■.

so now im standing here alive, and my temperature guage is going from cold to hot every 3 minutes.

Also, 10 minutes ago i was healing passivley through heatstroke and sandstorm.
as well as in normal conditions, my and clanmate and I damaged eachother, and passive health regen was SUBSTANTIAL. like as good as aloe soup.

After relog health regen is currently 0. and temperature gauge is going up and down while standing still not changing gear.

This happened to one of my friends on an Official PvE server yesterday as well. They were in the Yamatai base at Crowngrove wearing Khari armor when something happened IRL and they quickly logged off to take care of it.

They weren’t gone overly long (30-60 minutes), but upon logging found that they had died and they’d lost their full loadout due to high temperature.

@Soulstis, can you add any additional details that might prove helpful or more accurate?

Yes Larathiel is correct about dieing due to temperature while logged out. I was not in my base though.

I had a real life incident that I had to attend to. I put my follower on guard and logged out in the highlands. I logged out to the desktop. I logged back in and I was naked in my base. I then checked my event log and found I had died due to temperature change and everything I had rotted.

I understand there will be issues and I am ok with that. I believe that help could be given as well. A Dev has access to the server with admin privileges. A Dev could log in and drop the items that need to be replaced. I don’t care about the armor and items that can be created. The torch of the red mother, the witch doctor mask, and the night vision mask are things that required hours of standing and farming to aquire.

Hopefully this big can be fixed. Thanks.
