Individual, properly filled out bug reports per issue? Definitely not. But since 2022, no one can use the template without extra work, misunderstanding it, giving up or posting and being told to fill it out properly - even thought they did but the button is broken!

Absolutely, big hot button bugs in simple general discussion topics will see dozens to hundreds of comments and unique posters at that. There are multiple ways to use the forum and not everyone uses it the same way, couple that with outdated pinned posts and it can get confusing. While not Conan, here’s a great example, go ahead and back yourself out all the way to forums.funcom.com, the Arrakis giveaway is being auto bumped every single day even though the contest ended in October 2023.

“I’m experiencing this too” may not be a bug report, but it is a capture of the overall effect.

It may not be a bug report, but the posts don’t give much for the devs to go on other than symptoms of the bug. That’s why @Dana posted this request recently regarding the Battleye issue.

The team currently investigating this issue would like to know if any of you are using a VPN. If yes, have you’ve encountered the issue only when using the VPN?

Are you seeing this issue affecting official servers only? Is this also affecting private servers?
We’re looking into all types of servers but wanted to gather any and all information possible.

A few more troubleshooting steps that could help provide us with more information
Have you’ve tried:

• Same device, different network
• Same network, different device
• Different character, same device/network
• Different server, same device/network
• VPN on/off
• Manually reinstal battleye
• Verify integrity of game files (For PC players)

It seemed like a lot of the responses to this request were “I already gave you as much information as I want. Fix the bug.” This response doesn’t really help anyone. I understand there is frustration, but keeping a cool head, especially with those who can help is important.

I’m also reminded of the current falling through foundations bug. It may be that the fix would cause a result similar to the Nemedian foundation foul up and the devs are treading lightly before making any changes. I seem to recall in previous stream, they briefly talked about this bug. My impression was they were trying to fix the bug, but also trying to prevent another “Nemedian foundation situation.”
