Dismantling bench does not process items. Tried rebuilding / replacing it, nothing , nada… has something been changed here? or am I just experiencing a bug?
1) Build dismantling bench.
2) Put items into dismantling bench for them to be dismantled.
3) Watch in horror as nothing happens.
Are you putting the items manually into the upper dismantling line of the bench? Maybe stupid question, but still. 
Happened to me few times before, because I was used to those items to be adjusting to the dismantling line automatically, but this does not work now anymore.
Yup… it’s not automatically placing the items in the dismantling queue. Kind of annoying, but it does work if manually placed.

lol this game can be so random sometimes.

I believe this change came with 3.0 and Sorcery. The same happens also with worker thralls not adjusting by themselves in the workbenches, you have to manually put them into the worker spot.
Some people say it’s about some simple changes which were intended, tho I still can’t see any good point it this.
Really? that far back? Hrm, sure I used the bench during that period, but then I took a long break for a while after, catching up right now. Thanks for the info!
I will say though, the old way was much better, this method is just tedious.
