I’ve killed the Wine Cellar Boss like 25 times looking for Scythe of Thag and nothing. I didn’t get any Momentum in the chests.
I did it again alone without any Thralls or horses, on the first try I got a Momentum, on the second the Boss dropped me Scythe of Thag, on the third another Momentum in the chests.
I hope it helps someone to know this.

I got Momentum in my second legendary chest with thrall and a horse following… Amazing how random luck can be

25 or even 100 does not give the right to draw such conclusions. This is the work of chance.
Chests are loaded along with the rest of the environment, and their contents do not depend at all on the presence of companions.

I. Believe they are trying to help out others and I am aware RNG Sucks. Funcom should have gotten rid of the chests and left legendary weapons and armor on the Bosses just my opinion and perhaps shared with others.
If you try another 25 times without thralls and horses, you’re likely to find more variety in your luck with loot.
All of my Wine Cellar runs have been done with followers, and I have two scythes. I’ve also got three Strangely Familiar Axes from the Warmaker’s dungeon on the same run.
It’s possible there’s a glitch in the loot RNG, but I’m pretty certain it has nothing to do whatsoever with followers.
