So i bought 5 eggs today put them in the compost bin expecting them to hatch… The counter goes down… Nothing… They now atm of writing this have 2:24:12 left on the eggs and still nothing, what’s going on?

@MellyMew113 Could you please say whether the eggs have hatched and whether you were able to retrieve them?
they hatches when the timer has gone out, then you have about the same amount of time to get them in the pen before they die
If you are not in need of the pen slots, just place the eggs in the pen with the required food ready.
When the counter expires (which is faster in the pen) they will automatically start the growing / taming process and they will appear in the pen que.
Otherwise, If you want to speed up the hatching process and have the hatchlings ready to grow, you can place the eggs in a filled compost heap (not sure still work, but should), but be aware, if the eggs hatch real quick this way, the hatchlings will die as quick if not put growing in the pen.
The first batch i put in hatched finally next day after i put them in fridge so i could sleep.
But recently i bought more spider eggs and when you put them in compost bins it should be 5hr, mine was 30 mins. I just now took them out of the bin im my bag at 5 mins ( no hatching) hoping they hatch there cause its longer timer.
