Enemies Moving Around & Attacking in their Idle/Emote Poses

What happened to the Bug Report Template I can no longer find it!? Oh well I will do my best.

Playstation 5
Offline Singleplayer
Exiled Lands

Detailed Description:
Both human and animal NPCs move all around the screen and also actively attack the player while still in their unalerted/non-aggroed/resting/emote poses. It occurs all around the map and is whimsical to behold. They will eventual emerge or come out of these poses if aggroed, but it is very immesrsion breaking.

Steps to Reproduce:
Just load the game and walk around in Singleplayer mode where mobs are. It is very hard to miss.

Example:
Look :eyes: someone applied Oil to the underside of this Shaleback, now he is sliding around in a gleeful, carefree state like a walrus.

Turtle wax

I can’t say I see this often, but sometimes it happens. And this has always been observed.
Sometimes it happens that they get up and are already moving their paws, but continue to slide.

Interesting. For me it happens almost every single play session Teng. Some days I laugh maniacally, others it dampens my immersion. But it certainly looks weird.

I hate to say it, but if Funcom dropped support for last generation consoles, things (especially on PS5) would improve

I remember in the very first days of the game the surprise when a large turtle, standing motionless on four legs, passed me. He moved evenly and in a straight line.
It’s like a toy horse on wheels, dragged along by a child on a string.
Maybe this is how the developers want to remind us of Newton’s first law?

It is posts such as this that make me wish we had a ‘laughing’ reaction for the forum. Inertia is a B it seems. :joy:

A constant occurrence for this one, but not just on single player.
Less often this happens on both public and private servers.
Between this and invisible enemies, the jank of the current combat system is just too much for this one to derive any enjoyment.

This happens on both PS5 and PStato.
Middleware company is dropping the ball hard.
