'Enter' key does not default to 'Give' or 'Take' when using the Shift-drag feature

Bug Description:

Before Recent Major UI Changes:
When holding the Shift key and dragging a stack from inventory onto a bench (or vice versa), one could type the split number, or desired number to move, and then immediately press the ‘Enter’ key. This would split the stack based on the number entered, and move that amount from one inventory window to the other.

After Latest Major UI Changes:
Pressing ‘Enter’ after a Shift-drag action no longer moves the count of items from one inventory window to the other. Instead, it just ‘splits’ the stack in the origin inventory window. This is so annoying, because it forces the player to have to click either the Give button, or Take button, when doing a Shift-drag action between two inventory windows. This mouse move and click action is NOT NEARLY AS FAST as just pressing the ‘Enter’ key (as the old way used to work).

I think the bug is that the ‘Enter’ key is being bound to the first UI button of the Shift-drag popup window, which is now the Split button not the Give/Take button. Please update the Shift-drag action for moving inventory items so that the ‘Enter’ key will be bound to the Give or Take button.

Bug Reproduction:

  • Shift-drag a stack of 500 coal from player inventory to furnace inventory
  • in the popup Shift-drag window, type ‘250’
  • press ‘Enter’ key
  • instead of 250 coal being placed in the furnace inventory, a new 250 coal stack is added to player inventory

They need to get rid of the Give and Take buttons and go back to the old way where the split stack went to whatever container the mouse cursor was on. No more need to find a empty slot in the destination container, just place the stack in that container.
