Basic Info:
Platform: PlayStation 5
Issue Type: Gameplay
Game Mode: online
Server Type: pve
Map: siptah
Server Name: 8007
Issue:
I downloaded the latest patch (hotfix) but the issue still persists with the few following differences:
The issue along with the boots and gloves, it now targets the leggings (pants)
The game won’t let you to drop all 3 bugged armor pieces except if you drop the leggings and gloves first.
The game will allow you to drop down or/and store the bugged boots from your inventory to storage if you don’t have the other two bugged pieces in your inventory.
The bugged gloves and leggings can be picked and added to any empty slot of the gear wheel and be stored from the wheel to storage.
The 3 bugged pieces can’t be equipped from the inventory just like before when the issue appeared.
So far no issues with placable thralls (fighting type and bench type)
Note:
The issue first appeared with the arrival of chapter 4 and it’s targets which I first noticed were the flesh map and the werehyena tooth.
Note 2:
The armor I wear always and first noticed the issue is the heavy silent legion armor.
Heavy Silent legion boots, heavy silent legion leggings and heavy silent legion gloves.
Once removed, the game doesn’t allowing me to equip them back via normal means through my inventory nor to store them from my inventory to a thrall, bench and storage.
I press equip on each of those three, the game will display that they got equipped and with in 3 seconds it will auto remove them from my character 's body.
The same happens with these 3 pieces when I farm the silent legion set from jailors at the npc camps.
Sir ZahMaiatt I checked the inventory option which @sestus2009 asked if I checked, and when I switched that option from “Short By” to “Short To None” I did two tests.
Test one: I took the three armor pieces which I saw as bugged and transferred them from storage to my inventory, from inventory to armorer bench for repair and after from inventory back to storage with zero issue.
Test two: I took my character 's whole armor off and did the interaction/animation with the yamatai onsen. Then I stopped the animation and equipped my whole armor back with zero issue.
Overall both tests showed that by switching the inventory option from “Short By” to “Short To None” and keeping it to “Short To None” solved so far my inventory issue.
