The Event log was changed with the Pets Update. You have to be in the area (like within 6 foundations) to see if anything is destroyed/killed.
There is a PC hot fix that actually has a broader UI for event logs, but per last update, consoles have not seen it yet. So basically you have to hop between all your bases during raid time and catch the attackers mid act:/
nope. it stores it only for that “area”. don’t know the how far back, but only way to know is if you go to that area, and check event log. if something in that area was hit, it will describe it and say time and date, and by who. Also, if it says by “.”, then it was more than likely a god.
I may actually like this log but I’ve heard the update shows when people steal so kinda strange that you have to be next to area for damage but theft shows up. @Tascha can you shine any light on this please
Right now the proximity is hard coded to be covering the whole map on PC. That change from super close range went in but wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes. So right now, the event log is telling you events happening on the whole map, not just in close proximity. However, this hasn’t been patched to consoles yet so in your case it will only still show close proximity. Really sorry for the confusion on this.
Hopefully we will be able to get the missing UI in so you can adjust your own settings as needed.
There will be a slider for proximity from very close (a few meters around you) to covering the whole map and additional filters to display or hide specific events.
Once everything is ready we will also have a proper “how-to” to go to with it.
