Failed to join server

“Failed to join server” by all server users, and the game is not launching steam on launch anymore. All other steam games work so it is not steam. After manually starting steam it will properly connect to funcom live services and when I click to play online it will list all servers properly. I choose to join private server as usual but there is about a 15-20 minute load screen before it says…“Failed to join server”. All other players on the server are reporting the exact same behavior on their end. Contacted G-Portal but there is no visible issues shown anywhere. Restarted server multiple times in hopes it would work.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Start the game…steam will not launch anymore.
  2. Shut down game.
  3. Manually launch steam.
  4. Now relaunch game.
  5. Attempt connection with private server listed as normal.
  6. Wait 15-20 minutes. (Load screen)
  7. Get error message saying “Failed to join server”
