False save ps4 offline

I play a lot of offline admin building. Lately i have had builds in which i have saved numerous times through out the build, only to have none of the construction of the castle or the decorating survive shutting down the game, or system.
Just like nothing ever happened. Must’ve been a 3hr hallucination.
I guess what im asking is has anyone else been victims of this theft?
I know a purge didnt wipe anything out, i have photos of a baseline foundation that i tested, it shows a bed had been placed. But a quick shut off, and turn back on of the playstation, and gone.

Do you have any relevant messages in your Event Log regarding the pieces that have disappeared?

Do you exit the game by first exiting to the main menu?

If you have PS Plus, can you verify if your save is being backed up to the cloud and, if so, try downloading the most recent save?
