My condolences, sestus2009. Youâve always been among the finest of us here on the forums, helpful and supportive. Itâs the least we can do to give some of that support back when you need it the most.
I know the feeling, only too well. But, I think that as long as we keep thinking about them, and maybe talking to them every once in a while, a part of them will live on in us who remain behind. They helped make us into the persons we are today, so they will always be a part of us.

The way it worked for me was I got a stale pack of cigs at the airport and was stubborn about it since I paid like $10 for it (normal price now but 20 years ago, that was pricey for a pack) . That was the last pack I bought and each cig was nasty AF. After 30 days and only half a pack gone, I threw the rest away and never looked back.
So that is my recommendation for anyone thinking of quiting. If you are thinking about it, buy a second pack, unwrap it and leave it on top of the fridge. When you are ready, that is the only pack you can smoke from.

40 years ago there was a old fellow who had a pipe shop the one you put tobacco in for the record I still have a couple somewhere he made a special mild blend for me it was nice. I could dig through ashtray in cars 
a Sherlock Holmes and a long pipe like Gandalf

I just wanted to say that life is infinite. Only the narrative dies. We may see each other again if not already reborn. You see, I have one of those bibles with the family tree. I donât preach, but I have studied. I did my four years of church like college. After that, I told the missionaries to cancel my church membership. After a few years of that, my son said I have to send paperwork with a legal ultimatum in order to quit the church. 
Iâm not polygamist like my ex, so I didnât fit in to that church façade. 
The elders of the church said she did nothing wrong. The church believes in polygamy, so in their eyes, nothing wrong.
Before I digress, thanks for listening, too.

I appreciate that . I have spent more time on the Forum since she passed than any other waking task not that this is a task. Keeps the marbles in my head from sticking together. Not always posting but reading. We have a exceptional community here. 
I thank you all. Here is a tip if are going to be dealing with various colored cats avoiding the black long-sleeved t-shirt is advisable might have a bit of grey beard no its white now. One cat Jango sleeping with in bedroom likes sleeping on a arm or leg or just center of my chest. Then will stretch out with a cold paw 
and you think another is visiting . Starting to win over Bella the youngest treats in hairy pocket seems to be working. Thanks again everyone. Might pop a can of soup in the microwave with out the can.
I know you as such a kind person @sestus2009 Your partner must have been as genuinely warmhearted as you. Another precious soul leaving this earth. I feel for you loss and wish you strength for the hard time ahead of you. Her love for you and your mutual fur-children will always stay with you
