fatal error causing death and lost loot

Please describe the steps you took to cause this bug to happen.

play the game, game crashes “fatal error”, log back in and be naked on the beach . try to find corpse, no body, attempt to summon corpse using the summoning circle and no body appears= lost gear and rare torch of the red mother. event log says “you were killed” does not say by what. 2nd time this has happened to me and i’m out of spare Final Breaths!

Thank you for taking the time to report this situation to us.

Regarding the Fatal Error that is occurring, does this happen at random or does anything trigger it? Have you tried following any troubleshooting steps such as verifying the game files via Steam?

This can be achieved by going into your library, right-clicking Conan Exiles, selecting “Properties” and under “Local Files” pressing “Verify integrity of game files”.

It seems to be random, as I cannot pin point a cause such as players triggering a surge or purge for example. Game files are verified after the crashes.
